Web Client UI API
An important addition is the Web Client UI API. This API allows you to create UI extensions for the SAP Business One Web Client. This allows you to customize the user interface to your specific business needs.
With the new Visual Studio Code plugin for the Web Client, you can find these APIs in the UI framework. This way you can completely "rebuild" the interface, gaining access to layouts, controls and event handling. The all-in-one environment helps you write, debug, preview and test extensions with the VS Code plugin.
Real-time inspection and inventory management
The new Web Client inspector lets you see in real-time how your extensions affect the software's interface. You can inspect individual page elements to understand their properties and identify any problems.
There are also improvements in Sales, Purchasing and Inventory Management. You can now include batches, serial numbers and bin locations in incoming and outgoing documents. This makes it easier to create or select a batch or serial number for something directly in the document queue.
Enhanced Configuration App
The configuration app in the Web Client administration group has been improved with an easy-to-navigate menu. It allows you to easily find and manage company data, marketing document settings, app-specific settings and various function-specific settings.
New definition pages are available for managing different types of object data, such as payment terms, cash discounts and units of measure groups.
Variance Report
The Variance Report shows the contribution of each individual production component to the final production change. This report is enhanced with a two-part view, allowing you to view additional data for each component.
