New: Unlock SAP Business One in Microsoft Teams
SAP Business One is always looking for ways to make life easier for SMBs. For example, there is now the SAP Business One app in Microsoft Teams. This app makes conferring in Teams on data from SAP Business One easy.
Since the corona crisis, the use of Microsoft Teams has increased tremendously. In many companies, a lot of work is done from home and employees mainly contact each other via Teams, whether via Teams chat or video calls. There is also a lot of contact between companies via Teams: for example, with customers or suppliers.
What does the SAP Business One app do?
The SAP Business One app makes it possible to link overviews and detail pages from the SAP Business One Web Client and to view them in the Teams chat. The great advantage of this is that you do not have to leave Teams to access all relevant data from the ERP system.
You can compare this convenient functionality to the way the CRM for Outlook application works. This application, about which we wrote a blog earlier, allows you to view and use data from SAP Business One in Microsoft Outlook.
The following video from SAP explains how to use the SAP Business One app for Microsoft Teams:
Retrieved from this page explains how to install the app and link it with your SAP Business One package. The app is available only if SAP Business One is implemented on-premise with a version of 10.0 FP 2111 or higher.
