New: Wholesale now communicates with your Kardex cabinets
It had long been a wish of many Wholesale users, which is now realized: since update 87, your ERP system communicates with your Kardex cabinets. Logres also has several customers who use these cabinets in their warehouse.
Kardex cabinets are basically small automated warehouses in their own right. These cabinets usually contain small products or parts that can be removed or stored automatically.
Since update 87 (June 1, 2022) it is now possible to do receipts, movements and warehouse receipts with the Kardex cabinets. Moreover, since update 90 (July 27), it is also possible to process returns automatically with the Kardex cabinet.
How does it work?
When a customer places a sales order, it is processed in Wholesale and a warehouse receipt is generated.
If a warehouse receipt is created for a product stored in a Kadex warehouse then an export file is created for a Kardex cabinet. This file is imported by the Kardex cabinet and then handled as a pick order.
The Kardex cabinet will now find and deliver the requested items together in the logistics process. The completion notification of this will again be sent to Wholesale as an import file.
