Project-driven work often means dynamism and thus requires organization. Insight is the key word here.

What does that mean for your organization... Go here to PDF and read more on this topic.

To begin with, it is important to be able to build a project in which all components are represented. Think of materials, resources, calculations, planning. Based on that, decisions can be made.

Insight tells us, for example, when materials should be ordered to meet project deadlines. Insight into costs, margins, risks. Is there enough capacity to produce on time. What does it mean if for whatever reason materials are delivered late, extra costs have to be incurred, capacity problems
arise and schedules have to be adjusted accordingly.

Being dependent on many factors makes it dynamic. Good organization ensures that risks are contained, deviations are quickly understood and the consequences of adjusting are clear.
