A support consultant is always helpful. That's the nature of the beast, according to Jelmar Centen of Logres. But the best part is when the answer to a question is not at hand 1-2-3. 'Having to figure something out for yourself and then delivering it to the customer working: that's the prettiest!

Jelmar has been working at Logres for several months now, to great satisfaction. "I was trained as a system administrator. I previously worked as a software consultant, but then for a package that was much more limited to a specific function.

The great thing about Wholesale is precisely that this package is so broad and comprehensive. It is a very mature package, into which years of time have been put. You don't often come across something that has never been thought about before," Jelmar says.

At home in all markets

As a support consultant, Jelmar must therefore be at home in all markets. '

Together with my colleagues I help customers with all kinds of questions. Our working days are not all the same, and especially during the vacations we have to be able to take over running issues from each other, preferably without the customer noticing. So we all need to have a broad knowledge of all parts of the package'.

Besides knowledge of Wholesale, Jelmar also has some knowledge of the code behind it. In my spare time I do some programming. In this way, I have also built up some knowledge of coding and development in recent years. I also enjoy hiking, kickboxing and 3D design. So I am also privately at home in all sorts of things...'

Balance

Working at Logres suits Jelmar well. 'I have nice colleagues and varied work. What I like is that the lines are short and that you get a lot of trust. Even at the job interview I noticed that they thought along with me. It was not just about what I could contribute to the organization, but they were also interested in me as a person. That balance is also in the company: that feels good.'
