At Logres, we believe it is important to attract not only experienced consultants, but also talented professionals from diverse backgrounds. Sarah is one such professional who made the switch to ERP consulting. In this interview, she shares her experiences and insights about her career at Logres.
From process optimization to ERP
Sarah has a background in business administration and previously worked in a role that focused on process optimization. "I was always concerned with how processes could be more efficient and how technology plays a role in that," Sarah says. "When I started looking into ERP systems, I realized it was the perfect combination of my analytical skills and my interest in IT."
The start at Logres
When Sarah started at Logres, it was a leap of faith, but she felt right at home. "From day one, I was well supervised and given the opportunity to learn a lot. The combination of training, mentoring and working directly on projects made me grow quickly in my role."
What makes working at Logres unique?
"What struck me immediately at Logres is the open culture and the focus on collaboration. Everyone helps each other and there is always room to ask questions. In addition, I appreciate the variety in projects: each client has unique challenges, so you are always challenged to come up with appropriate solutions."
Advice to others considering the switch
Sarah encourages others to consider moving into ERP consulting, even if they don't come from a pure IT background. "If you have an affinity for business processes and enjoy working with customers to come up with solutions, this is a great field. Logres offers plenty of opportunities to grow, both substantively and personally."
