Procurement Management

Procurement is increasingly taking on a strategic function within the company. In order to actually use procurement management as a tool to increase your success and profitability, you must be able to control the entire procurement process. You do that with the following integral functions within Wholesale.

Functionalities of Purchasing Management

Purchase Quotes

In purchase quotations you have the ability to select multiple products from multiple suppliers, request items not yet included in your own assortment, record notes and (product) characteristics, compare purchase quotations and generate purchase requests from order advice.

Purchase orders

With purchase orders, you have the ability to select multiple suppliers per product, calculate optimal order size, generate and manage order recommendations per suppliers, per buyer and per product unit based on order priority per product, and have visibility into open deliveries per supplier or per order.

Purchasing contracts

Purchasing contracts allow you to define purchasing agreements, which products will be purchased, the number of products that will be purchased, and the prices and discounts for the purchasing contract.

Loads

In shipments, you can record and monitor air, water and road transports, record container composition based on purchase order rules, monitor transport status and change transport schedule.

(continued) Loads

For (follow-up) shipments, you can generate pre-receipt or goods receipt based on shipment, make automatic calculation of valuation price at GIP, LIFO and FIFO and you can do inventory revaluation based on shipment cost price at VVP.

Vendor Rating

With vendor rating you can assess suppliers based on delivery reliability, quality and price, do a scoring using weighting factors and realize comprehensive reporting by period, by supplier, by product group.
