Exactly one year and one month old they are: the SAP Business One Service App and the SAP Business One Sales App. These mobile apps for iOS and Android help you quickly and flawlessly issue quotes and place orders based on the most up-to-date information.

Since June 12, 2019, the latest update of this app is available, which works perfectly not only on the phone, but also on the tablet. It includes two important new features and some smaller technical improvements.

Service App improvements

- Barcode scanning

Placing orders is now even easier by using barcode scanning to add items to your order. This not only saves a lot of manual work, but also reduces the risk of errors.

Moreover, you can easily find out all the information accompanying a scanned item, such as information on origin, shelf life and other details.

- Add previously searched items to your order

To order the right stuff, you may have spent some time looking around your supplier's site first. The updated Service App remembers your search history and can use it to add previously viewed items to your order.

Sales App improvements

- PDF view of Orders and Quotation Requests

Many orders and quotation requests you may be able to return, with just a few changes, to your customer. So in the updated Sales App, you can view, check, sign and send a request directly as a pdf in the correct format. That saves you as a sales manager or account manager a lot of time!

- Barcode scanning

As a sales manager or account manager, it is also useful to be able to add products to a quotation using barcode scanning. This saves you work and reduces the risk of errors. Make it easy for yourself and add products directly to the ready quotation on location.

- Add previously viewed items to order

This functionality works much the same as the functionality of the Service App. Because your search history is available in the app, you can easily add products to an order that you previously viewed or searched for.
