Only our partners can properly understand what customers want and need. So says Dutch SAP CEO Monic van Aarle in an interview on Dutch IT Channel. 'Going into business with a recognized SAP partner is always a wise choice.'

SAP is a large company with a global market and (tens of) thousands of customers. This is precisely why the company has chosen to work closely with partner companies in each country that sell SAP licenses, provide advice, do implementations, customization or SAP support.

Logres does everything-in-one, but also regularly works with other SAP Business One partners for specialized add-ons.

Speeddates

Van Aarle: "Partners today can actually rarely be pigeonholed into one. Usually you see that they hit certain points of those descriptions, but that it's a combination.

We always find collaborations interesting because partners can then benefit from each other's specialties. We therefore always encourage collaborations, for example by organizing speed dates where partner companies can get to know each other."

Knowledge is power

The Dutch CEO of SAP believes that the strength of SAP partners lies mainly in the knowledge of their customers.

"For a large company like SAP, it is not possible to know exactly what is going on at various customers and how their business works. SAP partners combine customer knowledge with system knowledge. That's what makes this way of working so powerful."

Sound advice

Another point Van Aarle makes is that the implementation of SAP Business One frequently leads to changes in the way a company works.

"Adapting the way we work is not necessarily necessary, but in order to work efficiently with our software, it may be a choice to slightly modify the current processes. Ultimately, it's about saving time and money. A good SAP Business One partner can advise you much better on this than we can as a parent company."
