The woman behind the voice answering the phone

Carla Wernsen is described on the Logres site as a "jack-of-all-trades. And that's exactly what it is, says Carla. "I arrange everything from renewing licenses to organizing the upcoming move. In addition, I'm the one customers get on the phone when they call Logres."

Carla's work is enormously diverse, which is precisely what she enjoys every day, she says. "My official job title is "financial administrative assistant."

In practice, that means I do orders, pay salaries, arrange licenses, take care of invoicing, check records, take care of tax returns and am also available for all kinds of incoming questions and requests, both from clients and colleagues."

Skipping

In Carla's position, it is sometimes a balancing act between repetitive tasks that must be done with the utmost accuracy and incoming rush jobs. "But that's exactly what makes it fun," Carla says.

"I enjoy the fact that I really have my own turf. What I do is quite specialized. Many things I do I can't outsource to colleagues. Of course I fulfill incoming requests with all my love, but I have the space to arrange the day as I want. I direct myself, so to speak... I have a high sense of responsibility and enjoy making sure that Logres as a company can run optimally every day.

There are few clients Carla has never spoken to. "Some clients call every few days about something. At one point there was a client I spoke to so regularly that he stopped calling his name whenever I spoke to him again. Fortunately, I recognized his voice right away: they don't mess with me...!"

Levelling

Logres is a fun company to work for, Carla believes. "It's just well put together here. It's a well-regulated, stable company: I can tell! There is plenty of time for fun, but in general there really is a hard-working atmosphere in the office. Everyone goes for it.

Not all colleagues are in the office every day. Many consultants are all over the country working with clients. But one Thursday a month, when everyone is at the office, it's extra cozy. Then there is also time for a chat, just levelling up... That's important too, you know!"
